Welcome to Mansfield, TX! Located mostly in Tarrant county, with small parts in Ellis and Johnson counties, Mansfield is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area. For more than 125 years, Mansfield has been a place to call home for thousands of people with a vision to live in a community with the spirit to achieve greatness. With an estimated population of 75,411 in 2021, Mansfield is one of the largest cities in the DFW-Area. Located a short drive from the Arlington entertainment district, downtown Fort Worth and DFW Airport, Mansfield’s small-town hospitality and charm offers a change of pace from DFW’s urban traffic and congestion.

Mansfield is home to FieldhouseUSA, a 100,000+ square foot multi-purpose sports and recreation facility for both adults and youth. FieldhouseUSA offers twelve regulation volleyball courts, eight basketball courts, onsite food and beverage, tournaments, leagues, camps and special events. Big League Dreams has eight Major League ballpark replica fields for softball and baseball. The complex also includes an indoor soccer pavilion that can be used for banquets and special events, and two sportsclub style restaurants. The Mansfield StarCenter has two full-sized ice rinks, an in-arena concessions area and meeting space. The Mansfield ISD Athletic Complex features the 11,000-seat Vernon Newsom Stadium and the Debbie Weems Natatorium. 

Hawaiian Falls Water Park is a 10 acres (4.0 ha) destination during the hot summer months; while Historic Mansfield is being revitalized to be a year-round destination. Downtown hosts annual festivals such as the Hot Beats and Cold Brews Festival, the Hometown Holiday Parade and St. Patrick’s Day Pickle Parade.

Mansfield also has an extensive park system including 11 parks, 3.5 mi of hiking/biking trail, an 80 acres nature park, an activity center, four athletics fields and two golf courses: Mansfield National Golf Course and Walnut Creek Country Club.

Students living in the Tarrant County portion of Mansfield, as well as most of those living in the Johnson County portion, are served by the Mansfield Independent School District [MISD] with total enrollment of 32,638 students. There are 6 high schools, 23 elementary schools, 6 intermediate schools, and 6 middle schools. Most district schools (except high schools) are named after notable former teachers and educators from the Mansfield School District.
