Welcome to North Richland Hills, TX! North Richland Hills, commonly known as NRH, is a dynamic, growing city centrally located within the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. With nearly 70,000 residents, 1,200 businesses and 30 major employers, NRH is the third largest city in Tarrant County.

A 2017 citizen’s survey found that 96% of residents rate the quality of life in North Richland Hills as excellent or good and 96% would recommend NRH to a friend or family member as a good place to live. In 2012, North Richland Hills was ranked at #44 as one of the Best Dallas Suburbs according to D Magazine and in 2006, North Richland Hills was selected as one of the “Top 100 Best Places to live in America” according to Money magazine. 

The majority of children who live in North Richland Hills attend schools in the Birdville Independent School District [BISD]. The northernmost part of the city is served by the Keller Independent School District [KISD]. The city is also home to several private schools.
