Welcome to Trophy Club, TX! Located in Denton and Tarrant Counties, Trophy Club is an affluent northern suburb of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Trophy Club’s unique history helped shape the town into the beautiful, safe, well-maintained community oasis that it is today. Over the years Trophy Club has developed from a small, golf-centric, rural getaway for Dallas executives and retirees into a premier North Texas residential community. 

The strategic location of the town places Trophy Club at the center of a major growth area in the DFW Metroplex. Located on the State highway (SH) 114 corridor near Southlake, Westlake, and Roanoke, Trophy Club’s close proximity to both the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Alliance Airport will continue to be a major factor in town growth.

As the first master-planned community in Texas, Trophy Club features over 1,000 acres of parks, 36 holes of golf winding through neighborhoods and environmentally secure woodlands, an efficient local government and so much more.  Much of the town’s appeal is the wide range of home choices and resident participation in community activities, schools, churches, clubs, organizations, and town advisory groups.  It has been acknowledged multiple times by D Magazine as one of the best places to live in Dallas–Fort Worth.

Trophy Club is home to a handful of parks and green spaces. Independence Park offers a pool, splash pad, and athletic fields, while Harmony Park features a state-of-the-art electronic exercise system for kids and adults, as well as tennis courts and soccer fields. The Trophy Club community pool offers diving boards, water spraying features, and a baby pool. There are also two 18-hole golf courses that are popular among community members.

Trophy Club hosts a variety of events that bring residents of the community together, including family campouts, fun runs, kids’ cooking classes, wine-themed events, and more. Trophy Club residents also have easy access to Grapevine Lake, a hub for boating, water skiing, fishing, camping, hiking, and biking in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Trophy Club’s cost of living is higher than the state and national averages, primarily due to home prices in the area. Still, Trophy Club tends to be a more affordable place to buy a home than neighboring Westlake and Southlake. Other cost of living factors like health care, groceries, and utilities are on par with state averages.

Trophy Club is served by the Northwest Independent School District [NISD], one of the largest districts in the area. The Northwest ISD operates 18 elementary schools, six middle schools, and three high schools, as well as one accelerated high school. Schools in the immediate Trophy Club area include Lakeview Elementary, Samuel Beck Elementary, Medlin Middle School, and Byron Nelson High School, and the district prides itself on strong academic success and preparing students for higher education.
