Northlake

Welcome to Northlake, TX! Located in Denton County, Northlake is northwest of Grapevine Lake, approximately 10 miles northwest of Westlake, Texas.

While Northlake is primarily characterized by wide open spaces of undeveloped ranch land with rolling topography, the Town also benefits from the major highways which pass through providing easy access to points throughout North Texas but most notably the neighboring Texas Motor Speedway and Alliance Corridor. Northlake truly provides the best of both worlds with the rural Texas lifestyle and easy access to all the amenities of the 4th largest metropolitan area in the United States.

Northlake is a growing community located in the southwest corner of Denton County, Texas, along Interstate Highway 35W and State Highway 114, between Fort Worth and Denton, and just 15 miles from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Although the town has grown considerably since its inception and more growth is sure to come, Northlake continues to value its rural heritage as it grows as a part of one of the fastest growing regions in the United States.

Northlake is located in an area of abundant educational opportunities with excellent public and private schools serving the community and numerous colleges and universities located in the North Texas region. Northlake is covered by three school districts. Most of the Town’s area is served by the Northwest Independent School District [NISD], but substantial portions of the Town are served by the Argyle ISD and the Ponder ISD. All three districts are known for their excellent schools.
